Golgotha is a oil on panel painting by Govert Flinck (1615–1660), created in 1649. Measuring 90 × 119 cm, it depicts the biblical scene from Matthew 27:45-56. This painting is housed at Art inspired by Stories in the Bible.
North-Netherlandish painter and student of Rembrandt's. Mostly known for three large civic guard paintings (Amsterdam Rijksmuseum). Was responsible for a generous part of the decorations of the town hall on Dam square. Flinck was a celebrated portrait painter in his time.
